The QuickControl is fully configurable, object oriented DCS/SCADA/MMI software
developed for a monitoring and dispatch control of industrial processes.
The main focus of development has been put on quick system reaction times,
reliability, and easy maintenance. The QuickControl is supplied as part of
complex solution for monitoring and process control systems.
Version is intended for very large systems. It's based on XML/XSLT and open web technologies extended by the capability of industrial communication protocols.
The basic system options are based on the previous versions and server platform is remaining Linux and Windows.

Version 3 – from 2003
This version represents revolutionary step forward towards developing environment
with open standards. Another big change from previous version is migration from
IBM OS/2 platform to GNU Linux and Microsoft Windows.
- trends – process control signals archiving with the option of graph-like style viewing
- logbook – archiving and viewing of event and status messages
- alarms – review of active error status messages
- automatic protocol value saving into a SQL database
- support for quality and reliability monitoring of communicated values
- full support for PLC SAIA S-BUS, Amit; DDE data sources; protocol MODBUS; data loggers YOKOGAWA; thermometers FAMET PV; communication with FAS, SAS; and standard protocols M-Bus, IEC 62056, IEC 60870-5-104
- archiving in the PostgreSQL database with ODBC data interface
- HTTP interface for data administration and communication
- integration with the OpenOffice suite
- runs on Windwos 2000, XP and higher, GNU Linux (Redhat, Mandriva etc.)
Version 2 – from 1998 - developement terminated in 2007
Modular version oriented towards very wide systems (tens of thousands inputs/outputs)
with quick reaction times while maintaining low requirements for a hardware equipment.
The largest running system has over 700 control screens, 2 500 trended values with
reaction time under 3 seconds.
- visual extension integrated into the system
- trends – signal archiving and reviewing in graph or table like style, export to standard formats
- logbook – archiving and viewing of event and status messages. Allows to filter events by categories and print by custom time ranges
- alarms – review of active error status messages
- cinema – records all last events before and after user defined event (emergency for example) and thus allowing its reconstruction and analyzing
- communication with PLC SAIA, data loggers YOKOGAWA, thermometers MTU, DIREGT
- hot backups for a high reliability standard
- runs on the OS/2 Warp 3.0 or higher
Version 1 – from 1995 - fully migrated to version 2
System oriented towards mid-size systems. This system did not contain
its own visualization environment. It was being used together with a
third party software called Visual Control. Following is the brief system review:
- communication with PLC SAIA
- trends – signal archiving and reviewing in graph or table like style, export to standard formats
- logbook – archiving and viewing of event and status messages. Allows to filter events by categories and print by custom time ranges
- runs on the OS/2 Warp 3.0
